WHAT IS PERMANENT JEWELRY?

Permanent jewelry is claspless jewelry that is welded together by a quick, painless spark. Although it is called “permanent” you can remove it with jewelry snips whenever you want!

Permanent Jewelry is custom fit and personalized to your style. Choose from a variety of link options and metal types— I offer stainless steel, gold-filled, sterling silver, and a wide variety of charms and connectors! Create a custom stack of bracelets, anklets, or necklaces!

Although many people get permanent jewelry solo it can be a great  bonding experience for friends and family! Friendship bracelets, mother-daughter charms, couples’ bracelets, you name it! It's also a great option to add to your event, such as birthday parties or wedding receptions.

FAQs

What is Permanent Jewelry? Permanent Jewelry is jewelry that is designed by you, measured for the perfect fit, and welded together using a special machine. This replaces the need for a clasp (clasp-less jewelry). Clasps are available if you'd like to join in on the fun of creating a custom piece without the commitment.

Does it hurt? Nope! The spark that is generated during this process is NOT of high temperature. You can opt to wear special glasses and watch the process or look away to avoid looking directly at the bright flash that occurs when the jewelry is welded.

Can it be removed?  If the jewelry needs to be removed for any reason, it can be removed with jewelry snips and re-welded later, if desired. Just look for the jump ring and snip there to keep the chain in one piece.

Does it require any maintenance? The most common materials for permanent jewelry are stainless steel, sterling silver, or gold-filled chains. To maintain the chain, I recommend using a small brush (disposable lash brushes work great) with dawn dish soap to lightly scrub the jewelry to remove any dirt, debris, or build up from products.

Does it last forever? No. Permanent jewelry is no more durable than a regular bracelet or necklace. If you take care of your jewelry it can last for many years but it is not indestructible. Permanent only means that the jewelry has no clasp and is not meant to be taken off daily.
